Hello to new and old readers of The Spectral Agent. I know that I haven’t been interacting much with the community myself, though you all know all about Ed the Editor already. But trust me, I have been reading a lot of reactions from you guys, that’s what this is all about!
Viktor Levitsky has been a person in my head for a very long time, so seeing him actually get out there and be seen means more to me than I or anyone could ever know. I want to thank all of my readers from the bottom of my heart!
Hundreds of you have read or listened since the first episode was published in May 2025. Most of you have listened, with nearly 2,000 downloads of the audio rendition.
Even though the community is relatively small, it feels like a dream come true to have my passion project out in the world. For something I’ve poured so much of my soul in, to be admired is euphoric.
I’ve struggled with getting traction for my work from even peers in the past, so I really do appreciate every positive interaction you guys have made with the series so far.
I want people to be able to connect with my stories on a deeper level. I want someone to see themselves in my character’s shoes. To not feel so alone in how they feel, because even if fictional, someone still understands them.
I’m so glad that I was able to inspire Ed the Editor to write The Flucks. I would be so happy if The Spectral Agent ever became that for someone else, too.

That’s why all the feedback means so much to me. I’ve wanted to write an article or a thank you note for a long time, but I felt like everything I wrote couldn’t express exactly how I felt about this project. Now though, I feel more ready than ever to express my gratitude!

Thank YOU, Jan! There have been times when this story has felt like a little hug with all the heart and soul that goes into the characters and how vulnerable they can be in the midst of gun fights and spying and corruption. I listen to this while I get my mid-afternoon chores done and it's a treat every time.
